Effective 1 January 2017, the Panamanian Government requires Corporate and Foundation Ordinances in the Republic of Panama to maintain accounting records and supporting documentation to comply with Law Number 52 (“Law 52”) passed on 27 October 2016.

As part of the wider Companies (Amendment) Bill 2017, the Ministry of Finance and the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore have concluded a consultation period for the proposed introduction of inward re-domiciliation of foreign companies to Singapore.

The New Zealand government has recently passed law changes to tighten its foreign trust rules. The new rules will require all New Zealand Foreign Trusts to be formally registered with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department and to disclose information on all settlements and distributions including copies of trust deeds.
