Singapore Signed Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement with Nigeria

Singapore and the Federal Republic of Nigeria signed an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation (“DTA”) on 02 August 2017.
The treaty will provide greater reliefs to investors and businesses between both countries to eliminate or reduce the incidence of double taxation in addition to exchange of information and mutual assistance on tax matters.
The DTA will enter into force after its ratification by both countries.
